By using this website (“Service”) you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”) with Bega Valley Driving School (BVDS).
Account Terms
You must provide your full legal name, a valid email address, and any other information requested to complete the signup process.
Your login may only be used by you or your family members.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Bega Valley Driving School cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs from your account.
Permission for Contact
Booking reminders will be sent 48 hours prior to lesson time, via text or email. If you do not want a reminder, please let us know.
Refusal of service
In its sole discretion, Bega Valley Driving School has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse all current or future use of the Service, or any other Bega Valley Driving School service, for any reason, at any time. Such termination of the Service will result in the deactivation or deletion of your Account, or denial of access to your Account. Bega Valley Driving School reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
We agree to provide professional driving instruction in our manual or automatic transmission cars fitted with dual controls. When the lesson is conducted in the client’s vehicle, Bega Valley Driving School will not be liable for any damage to, or failure of the vehicle provided, or injuries due to the failure or damage of the client’s vehicle. If the vehicle provided by the client is unroadworthy the lesson may proceed if conducted in the Driving School vehicle.
If, in the opinion of the driving instructor the client/student is under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the lesson the lesson will not proceed, and the lesson fee will be forfeit.
Fees / Security of information
How is Credit card information stored? Credit card information is not stored by us on our servers
Where is data stored? All of the customer data Bega Valley Driving School collects is secured against unauthorised use or access.
All prices quoted are inclusive of GST.
There are no credit or debit card surcharges
Cancellation Rates
Time and place of lesson/s are agreed upon at time of booking.
Start and finish location of lesson/s are agreed upon at time of booking.
If you wish to receive a refund for a scheduled lesson, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson.
If you cannot attend your lesson, please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. We will attempt to reschedule within a reasonable period of time. Lessons will only be rescheduled once.
If you do not give at least 24 hours’ notice you will forfeit the lesson fee unless evidence of illness or accident is produced. In the case of illness or accident (you the student or household member) where you have not notified us more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson, you can reschedule the lesson but may not receive a refund.
If you fail to attend the scheduled lesson or fail to notify us, then you will forfeit the lesson fee.
You can request a particular driving instructor but please be aware that this will be subject to availability of the specified driving instructor. If the specified driving instructor is unavailable for your scheduled lesson, we reserve the right to provide another suitable driving instructor.
If you are more than five minutes late for a scheduled driving lesson, the driving instructor may be unable to provide the full hour lesson. It is up to his discretion and available schedule if he can add the lost time to the next lesson.
If the driving instructor is unavoidably late to deliver the lesson, he will make up lost time on a future lesson, if he is not able to provide the full hour-lesson at that time. If you do not have another scheduled lesson, he will endeavour to provide the hour lesson if not more than fifteen minutes late. If he is more than ten minutes, but no more than 15 minutes late, you can request a refund of one quarter of the lesson fee you were charged if he is unable to provide the full hour lesson. If he is more than fifteen minutes late you are free to cancel or reschedule if you wish.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available if you cancel your scheduled lesson more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled time. Refunds are also available in specific situations, such as incapacity to drive due to unavoidable illness or accident where less than 48 hours-notice is given and proof of such is provided.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Modifications to Services and Prices
Bega Valley Driving School reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
Prices of all Services are subject to change with or without notice.
Bega Valley Driving School shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
Vouchers and Discount packages
A one or two-lesson gift voucher is valid for three years from time of purchase. Any gift voucher that is part of a discounted package of three hours or more is valid for 12 months from time of purchase.
Lessons delivered as part of a package of three or more will be delivered in the time frame agreed upon at time of first booking or in a reasonable time frame if not otherwise stated.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and non transferrable.
General Conditions
Your use of this website is at your sole risk. The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Verbal, physical, written, or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any Bega Valley Driving School customer, employee, member, or officer will result in immediate account termination.
You understand that Bega Valley Driving School uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run.
You expressly understand and agree that Bega Valley Driving School shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the website; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the website; (iii) unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the website; (v) or any other matter relating to the website.
